Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
- Maintain standard cost systems and update as necessary.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports and variance analyses.
- Monitor inventory transactions and assist with periodic physical inventory counts.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed cost data.
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, purchasing, production, sales) to improve cost control measures and provide analytical support.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support cost projections, profitability analysis, and scenario planning.
- Assist with internal and external audits related to inventory and costing.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Light domestic travel.

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, GAAP, and standard costing systems
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of cost accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, standard costing, inventory accounting and variance analysis
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (Business Central) and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with inventory management, bills of materials, and production cost tracking
- Familiarity with GAAP and internal control practices
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, prepare reports, and present findings to management
