Key Responsibilities
- Act in a lead capacity, providing direction, training and support to department employees, ensuring daily productivity, quality and safety goals are met.
- Delegate tasks and monitor workflow to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Guide the team through daily work activities.
- Communicate to Distribution Center Manager employee performance and attendance concerns, as well as identifying areas that need improvement.
- Serve as a mentor, create a positive work environment, that fosters understanding and growth.
- Identify issues and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
- Support continuous improvement efforts of the organization to achieve Company goals and objectives.
- Support year-end inventory.
- Assist in receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping of materials as needed.
- Maintain, support and advance the Company’s current ISO certification and future ISO goals.
- Participates in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning process as appropriate.
- Ensure proper training of personnel assigned.
- Identify individuals for future advancement.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Regular attendance according to schedule.
- Follow all Company policy and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift certification
