“Sustainability begins when we give tires a second life.”
I joined REMA TIP TOP in 2001 and support customers in all technical matters related to tire repair and retreading. My responsibilities include training sessions, equipment instruction for vulcanizing tools, and direct support for retreaders in the field.
With my background as a vulcanizer and tire mechanic, I combine hands-on technical expertise with the ability to share knowledge in a practical way. What matters most to me is listening to customers, understanding their challenges, and working together with them to develop sustainable solutions.
What excites me about my role is the intersection of technology and sustainability. Extending the life of tires saves resources and protects the environment. At the same time, I enjoy passing on my expertise to new employees so they can apply it independently and share it with others.
A key part of my job is empowering customers to bridge knowledge gaps and implement effective repair solutions. This helps reduce material waste and extends the lifespan of tires.
I am especially proud when customers can repair or retread tires professionally and independently after completing one of my training sessions - a lasting benefit from the knowledge I am able to share.
