What your profile looks like
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in technical project management, ideally in plant engineering.
- Experience in integrating diverse specialist areas and disciplines, as well as in leading international and interdisciplinary project teams.
- Structured, independent, and results-oriented working style, combined with strong communication, coordination, and assertiveness skills.
- Business-fluent English skills and international experience are desirable.
- Project management certification (e.g., IPMA or PRINCE2) is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 30% of the time)
Your area of responsibility
- Leading international and cross-functional integration projects spanning various technical disciplines, trades, regions, and corporate entities.
- Management of projects from initial assessment and business case development—through development, piloting, and the stage-gate process—to industrialization and implementation at the customer site.
- Leadership of interdisciplinary project teams and coordination of specialist departments, regional subsidiaries, suppliers, and external partners.
- Responsibility for budgets, resources, and risks, as well as ensuring technical, economic, and organizational implementation.
- Preparation of decision-making materials and regular project reporting, as well as the further development of standardized project management standards in engineering.
