We take data protection seriously
The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is an important concern for us. This information is absolutely necessary for the technical transmission of the web pages and secure server operation. A personalized evaluation of this data does not take place.
If you send us data via contact form, this data will be stored on our servers in the course of data backup. Your data will only be used by us to process your request. Your data will be treated strictly confidential. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

Personal data
Personal data refers to information about an individual. This includes a person's name, address, and email address. Disclosing personal data is not required to visit our website. However, in certain cases, we may request your name, address, and other information to provide the requested service.
The same applies in the event that we supply you with information material on request or when we answer your inquiries. In these cases, we will always point this out to you. In addition, we only store the data that you have transmitted to us automatically or voluntarily.
When you use one of our services, we generally only collect the data necessary to provide you with our service. We may ask you for further information, but this is always voluntary. We process personal data for two reasons: to offer you our service and to pursue our commercial objectives.
Get in touch
When contacting us (e.g. by contact form, e-mail, telephone or via social media), the information of the inquiring persons is processed to the extent necessary to respond to the contact requests and any requested measures.
The response to contact requests in the context of contractual or pre-contractual relationships is made in order to fulfill our contractual obligations or to respond to (pre)contractual inquiries and otherwise on the basis of legitimate interests in responding to the inquiries.
- Types of data processed: inventory data (e.g. names, addresses), contact data (e.g. e-mail, telephone numbers), content data (e.g. entries in online forms).
- Affected persons: Communication partners.
- Purposes of processing: contact requests and communication.
- Legal basis: Contract fulfillment and pre-contractual inquiries (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. GDPR), Legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR).
Automatically stored data
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Date and time of the request
- Name of the requested file
- Page from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Web browser and operating system used
- Complete IP address of the requesting computer
- Data volume transferred
This data is not merged with other data sources. The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
For reasons of technical security, in particular to defend against attempted attacks on our web server, this data is stored by us for a short period of time. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user. The data is also processed in anonymized form for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data or passed on to third parties, even in excerpts.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data that do not harm your computer. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Persistent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them or your web browser automatically deletes them.
Cookies may come from us (first-party cookies) or from third parties (third-party cookies). Third-party cookies allow certain third-party services to be integrated into websites (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies serve different functions. Many cookies are technically necessary because they enable certain website features (such as the shopping cart feature or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to analyze user behavior or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically faultless and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as consent has been given for the storage of cookies and comparable identification technologies, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG); consent may be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser to notify you when a cookie is placed, to allow cookies only in specific instances, to prevent the acceptance of cookies in certain instances or generally, and to automatically delete cookies when you close your browser. If cookies are disabled, the functionality of this website may be limited. You can find out which cookies and services are used on this website in this Privacy Policy.
Complianz
Our website uses the Complianz consent technology to obtain and document your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your device or the use of certain technologies in accordance with data protection regulations. The provider of this tool is Complianz B.V., Kalmarweg 14-5, 9723 JG Groningen, The Netherlands (hereinafter referred to as "Complianz").
Complianz is installed locally on our servers, so there is no connection to the servers of the provider of Complianz. Complianz stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to assign or revoke the consents you have given. The data collected in this way is stored until you ask us to delete it, you delete the Complianz cookie yourself, or the purpose for which the data was stored no longer applies. Mandatory legal storage obligations remain unaffected.
Complianz is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 par. 1 lit. c GDPR.
OpenStreetMap
We use the OpenStreetMap (OSM) map service.
We integrate the map material from OpenStreetMap on the server of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Center, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. The United Kingdom is considered a safe third country for data protection purposes. This means that the United Kingdom provides a level of data protection equivalent to that provided by the European Union. When using the OpenStreetMap maps, a connection is made to the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation. Among other things, your IP address and other information about your behavior on this website may be transmitted to the OSMF. For this purpose, OpenStreetMap may place cookies in your browser or use similar recognition technologies.
The use of OpenStreetMap is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online services and an easy findability of the locations mentioned by us on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
bunny.net
We use the service "bunny.net". The provider is BunnyWay d.o.o., Cesta komandanta Staneta 4A, 1215 Medvode, Slovenia (hereinafter referred to as "bunny.net").
bunny.net provides a globally distributed Content Delivery Network (CDN). The information transfer between your browser and our website is routed through the bunny.net network. This enables faster delivery of content and improves the security of our website. bunny.net can also serve as a protection against malicious traffic from the Internet. Cookies or other technologies may be used to recognize Internet users, but only for the purposes described here.
The use of bunny.net is based on our legitimate interest in making our website as error-free and secure as possible (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Data processing takes place within the European Union. You can find further information on security and data protection at bunny.net here: https://bunny.net/privacy/.
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR with the above mentioned provider. This is a contract prescribed by data protection law, which guarantees that the provider will only process the personal data of our website visitors in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager. It is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistical tools and other technologies on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, store cookies, or perform any independent analysis. It is used only to manage and display the tools it integrates. However, the Google Tag Manager does record your IP address, which may also be transmitted to Google's parent company in the United States.
The use of the Google Tag Manager is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Matomo
This website uses Matomo, an open source web analytics service provided by InnoCraft Limited, 7 Waterloo Quay PO625, 6140 Wellington, New Zealand.
Matomo uses technologies that enable cross-page recognition of users to analyze user behavior (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Matomo about the use of this website is stored on Matomo's servers. The IP address is anonymized before being stored.
By using Matomo, we are able to collect and analyze information about the use of our website by visitors. This allows us to determine, among other things, which pages were accessed when and from which region. We also record various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browser and operating system used) and can measure whether our website visitors take certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).
This analysis tool is used exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and 25 para. 1 TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal (e.g. device fingerprinting) in the sense of the TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.
We use IP anonymization for analysis with Matomo. Your IP address is truncated prior to analysis so that it cannot be uniquely assigned to you.
The analysis data is processed by Matomo Cloud, which guarantees data protection in accordance with the applicable GDPR provisions. Further information about Matomo's data processing can be found here: https://matomo.org/matomo-cloud-privacy-policy/
YouTube
This site embeds videos from YouTube. This site is operated by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in an extended privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this site before they watch the video. However, extended privacy mode does not necessarily prevent the transfer of information to YouTube partners. For example, YouTube connects to the Google DoubleClick network regardless of whether you watch a video.
When you start a YouTube video on this site, a connection is made to the YouTube servers. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
In addition, YouTube may place various cookies on your device or use similar recognition technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting) after you view a video. This allows YouTube to obtain information about visitors to this site. This information is used, among other things, to compile video statistics, improve the user experience, and prevent fraud.
After starting a YouTube video, further data processing may be triggered, over which we have no control. The use of YouTube is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and 25 para. 1 TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal (e.g. device fingerprinting) in the sense of the TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.
You can find more information about data protection at YouTube in their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
Google Analytics
This website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables website operators to analyze the behavior of visitors to their websites. The website operator receives various usage data such as page views, length of visit, operating systems used and user origin. This information is associated with the user's device. It is not associated with a device ID.
We may also use Google Analytics to track, among other things, your mouse and scroll movements and clicks. Google Analytics also uses various modeling approaches to supplement the collected data sets and uses machine learning technologies to analyze the data.
Google Analytics uses technologies that recognize users for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g., cookies and device fingerprinting). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 par. 1 lit. a GDPR and 25 para. 1 TDDDG. This consent may be revoked at any time. Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here:
https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.
We use Google signals. When you visit our website, Google Analytics records your location, search history, YouTube history and demographic data (visitor data). This data can be used for personalized advertising using Google signals. If you have a Google Account, Google Signal visitor data will be associated with your Google Account and used to deliver personalized ads. The data is also used to compile anonymous statistics about our users' behavior.
Storage period
Unless a longer retention period is specified in this Privacy Policy, we will retain your personal information until the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. If you make a justified request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, deletion will take place after these reasons no longer apply.
Recipients of Personal Data
In the course of our business, we work with various external entities. In some cases, it is necessary to share personal information with these external parties. We only transfer personal data to external parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. transfer of data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in the transfer according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR or if another legal basis permits the transfer of data. If we use processors, we will only disclose our customers' personal data on the basis of a valid contract for order processing. In the case of joint processing, a joint processing agreement will be concluded.
Security
We have taken technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All our employees and service providers working for us are bound by the applicable data protection laws.
Whenever we collect and process personal information, it is encrypted before it is transmitted. This means that your information cannot be misused by third parties. Our security measures are subject to continuous improvement, and our privacy policy is updated on an ongoing basis. Please ensure that you have the latest version.
Data subject rights
You have a right to information, correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of your stored data at any time, a right to object to the processing as well as a right to data portability and to lodge a complaint in accordance with the requirements of data protection law.
Right to information
You can request information from us as to whether and to what extent we process your data.
Right of rectification
If we process your data that is incomplete or incorrect, you can request that we correct or complete it at any time.
Right of deletion
You can demand that we delete your data if we process it unlawfully or if the processing disproportionately interferes with your legitimate interests of protection. Please note that there may be reasons that prevent immediate deletion, e.g. in the case of legally regulated retention obligations.
Irrespective of the exercise of your right to deletion, we will delete your data immediately and completely, insofar as there is no legal or statutory retention obligation to the contrary.
Right to restriction of processing
You may request us to restrict the processing of your data if
- You dispute the accuracy of the data for a period of time that allows us to verify the accuracy of the data.
- the processing of the data is unlawful, but you refuse erasure and request restriction of data use instead,
- we no longer need the data for the intended purpose, but you still need this data to assert or defend legal claims, or
- You have objected to the processing of the data.
Right to data portability
You may request that we provide you with the data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and that you may transfer this data to another controller without hindrance from us, provided that
- we process such data on the basis of consent given by you, which may be revoked, or for the performance of a contract between us, and
this processing is carried out with the aid of automated procedures.
If technically feasible, you may request that we transfer your data directly to another data controller.
Right to object
If we process your data for legitimate interest, you can object to this data processing at any time; this would also apply to profiling based on these provisions. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. You may object to the processing of your data for the purpose of direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.
Right of appeal
If you are of the opinion that we are violating German or European data protection law in the processing of your data, please contact us so that we can clarify any questions. Of course, you also have the right to contact the supervisory authority responsible for you, the respective state office for data protection supervision.
If you wish to exercise any of the aforementioned rights against us, please contact our data protection officer. In case of doubt, we may request additional information to confirm your identity.
Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy as new technologies require. Please ensure that you have the latest version. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post a notice on our website.
