{"id":20009,"date":"2025-10-15T16:05:07","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T14:05:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rema-tiptop.de\/?post_type=career&#038;p=20009"},"modified":"2025-10-15T16:05:07","modified_gmt":"2025-10-15T14:05:07","slug":"maintenance-technician","status":"publish","type":"career","link":"https:\/\/rema-tiptop.de\/en\/career\/maintenance-technician\/","title":{"rendered":"Maintenance Technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility\u2019s equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Provide emergency\/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.<\/li>\n<li>Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.<\/li>\n<li>Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.<\/li>\n<li>Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize MaintainX application to log and document work order records.<\/li>\n<li>Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.<\/li>\n<li>Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that business goals, deadlines and performance standards are met.<\/li>\n<li>Follow, understand and achieve all quality requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an organized and clean work environment.<\/li>\n<li>Clean work area at the conclusion of each shift.<\/li>\n<li>Regular attendance according to schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Follow all Company policy and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Competencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical Proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical Aptitude<\/li>\n<li>Communication Proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Results Driven<\/li>\n<li>Self-Motivated<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Safety Conscious<\/li>\n<li>Attention to Detail<\/li>\n<li>Professionalism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma\/GED.<\/li>\n<li>Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance, preferred.<\/li>\n<li>1\u20132 years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Job Summary<\/h3>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the DAY SHIFT. The candidate will be an integral part of the Operations team and will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance and mechanical work throughout the facility.
