REMA TIP TOP Expands Conveyor Belt Cleaning Systems for Compact Conveyor Systems

Poing near Munich, September 8, 2026 – Conveyor belt cleaning systems are designed to reliably reduce material carryover and protect the conveyor belt while enabling cost-effective plant operation. However, space is often limited, especially in conveyor systems with small drum diameters. REMA TIP TOP has therefore expanded its portfolio to include the REMACLEAN PUR-F6-S, a conveyor belt cleaning system developed specifically to meet these requirements.

The new system complements the proven REMACLEAN F Series and features a ontinuous cleaning bar made of highly abrasion-resistant polyurethane that conforms to the surface of the conveyor belt and reliably removes material buildup. At the same time, it protects the conveyor belt and downstream equipment components. The system is suitable for belt speeds of up to 3.0 m/s and can be used with dry, oily, and greasy materials, as well as in reverse operation.

During development, the focus was not only on cleaning performance but also, above all, on ease of maintenance. To simplify maintenance work, the contact pressure can be quickly adjusted using a spring-loaded lever clamping mechanism. To enable quick replacement, the cleaning bar is mounted on an integrated mounting rail and can be swapped out in a short amount of time using tubular snap-in connectors. This helps reduce downtime. An integrated drain skirt also provides additional protection for the system carrier against material buildup.

With more than 45 standard products, the REMACLEAN portfolio includes cleaning systems for a wide variety of conveyor belt applications. REMACLEAN PUR-F6-S specifically expands this offering for conveyor systems with small drum diameters. The system is available for belt widths ranging from 400 to 1,600 millimeters and can be adapted to the respective material flow width through various cleaning widths.

This system is used in various industries, including recycling, processing, building materials, and food production. Typical materials include sand, gravel, lime, cement, sugar beets, and oil-containing bulk materials.

"The development of REMACLEAN PUR-F6-S focused on creating an easy-to-install and maintain solution for conveyor systems with small drum diameters," says Maria Haß, Product and Portfolio Manager for REMACLEAN & UNICLEAN at TIP TOP Industrievulkanisation Borna GmbH. "With this new system, we’re filling a gap in our portfolio for applications where design-related factors impose special requirements on conveyor belt cleaning."

"Our goal is to provide suitable solutions for different system designs and continuously develop our portfolio," says Haß. "With REMACLEAN PUR-F6-S, we’re expanding the range of applications for our REMACLEAN F Series to include areas where suitable systems were previously limited."
