What your profile looks like
- A college degree with a focus on finance or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in the corporate treasury department of an international company
- In-depth knowledge of FX, interest rate, and commodity risk management
- Experience with hedging strategies and financial instruments
- Knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, and in-house banking
- Experience with treasury management systems (TMS), ideally 360T, as well as very strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of hedge accounting under HGB and IFRS is a plus
Your area of responsibility
- Monitoring and analyzing foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity risks, as well as developing and implementing hedging strategies
- Execution of hedging transactions via treasury systems (TMS, 360T)
- Preparation of risk reports and ad hoc analyses, and support for the accounting department with hedge accounting in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Point of contact for international subsidiaries regarding risk management issues
- Processing of day-to-day payment transactions and management of bank accounts
- Handling daily cash management and providing support with investments and financing
- Assisting with liquidity planning, reporting, and maintaining processes in the TMS
- Management of cash pooling structures and administration of internal loans and intercompany agreements
