I have been part of REMA TIP TOP since 1985 and today I am responsible for product management within the REMA Motion business unit. My tasks range from managing our product portfolio to supporting our subsidiaries and representatives, as well as working directly with customers. In addition, I regularly contribute ideas for new developments that align with current market requirements.
My expertise lies primarily in the areas of repair and retreading, where I have built up in-depth knowledge over many years. However, for me it's not just about technology, but above all about close contact with our customers. The automotive business is diverse – from car repair shops to OTR tires and retreaders – and it is precisely this diversity that makes my work so exciting.
It is important to me to close existing gaps. I want to address areas where customers cannot work optimally and support them with solutions. This creates added value, increases efficiency and enables our customers to continue developing successfully.
My contribution is to make the industry more sustainable. With our repair-friendly systems, we help conserve resources and make the automotive sector a little greener overall.
It makes me proud when my support leads to success, for example, when a customer has been able to expand their portfolio with my help and sees REMA TIP TOP as a reliable partner. A particular highlight for me was helping a customer take the step into self-employment. Today, they employ more than eight people and, thanks to our training in the OTR sector, have secured a major underground mining company as a key customer.
